In yesterday’s review of Bow Man 2, I jokingly made reference to the enjoyability of burning ants with a magnifying glass. So, while I was surfing around for another fun game to share with everyone, I was a bit amazed when one of the first games I saw was Ant City. Considering all you do in this game is burn things with a giant magnifying glass, I took it as a sign that I HAD to review this game.

Okay, it’s not a great game, but come on… you get to set people on fire with a giant magnifying glass!

There’s only like 6 different things in this game that you can roast, but it sure does look pretty. There’s no music in the game, which is fine because the sound effects are mostly ambient noises that make it feel like a city intersection.

From a technical standpoint this is sub-par, but did I mention you get to blow stuff up with a giant magnifying glass?

Go waste 5 minutes on this guilty pleasure of a game…. you know you want to.
