TFS Football - Posted by _altr_

TFS Football, made by Andrew Martian is a SOCCER game with same great RTS strategy mixed in with some luck and a pinch of ball skills. Thankfully it comes with a great tout, so read it, although it’s fairly easy to pick up.

Being oldschool, I’ll always be a fan of the helicopter view, if done right, and this was done VERY right. While it can be a pain waiting around for the AI to get you the ball back it DOES feel like a real soccer game, 5,000 feet away from where the ball is, waiting to kick a ball through someones head.

The controls are great but don’t really remind me of head butting through someone to get to the goal, more so as when you DO get the ball, you’re fairly slow, but all the characters move at the same pace for the most part, so it’s understandable.

Anyways, with 17 nations and 2 difficulty levels to choose from, this SOCCER RTS not only has some good options and looks good but also plays well, if a bit slow. Alls it needs is some unclad Scots streaking the field.
