meatwad arMOONgeddon by Greg Panovich is a classic 2d top down shooter but with some great ATHF graphics and sound clips.

Playing as meatwad (not that by the title you couldn’t guess) you use the arrows to move and space to shoot. NOT AS EASY AS IT SOUNDS. The one thing that attracts me to this game is the feel. It’s like playing one of the classic shooters but on hard. I’ve been playing ‘em since they started replacing pinball machines and this game pisses me off just like they do, the waves of enemies being well designed. I played several times and i swear there’s some randomness in there. I’m just old though, could be my frail memory.

Anyways, great for a quick time killer with some good action and some hard bosses. By the way, there IS a secret code That will help you out. The only hint I’ll give is to listen to some of the in game music.
