While not one of the best RTS out there it’s very much worthy of a play through. Myself, I would’ve liked more actions from the workers, as in when their “attitude” would worsen they’d visible show it, instead of having to cycle through the workers to see how they’re doing. Also, seeing them turning ill/mad/ect would’ve been a nice artsy touch. Overall good graphics and sound with progressively harder levels makes this a must play if you’re into RTS’s like this. There’s some great games on the site, too, so make sure and check ‘em out.

Being oldschool, I’ll always be a fan of the helicopter view, if done right, and this was done VERY right. While it can be a pain waiting around for the AI to get you the ball back it DOES feel like a real soccer game, 5,000 feet away from where the ball is, waiting to kick a ball through someones head. The controls are great but don’t really remind me of head butting through someone to get to the goal, more so as when you DO get the ball, you’re fairly slow, but all the characters move at the same pace for the most part, so it’s understandable. Anyways, with 17 nations and 2 difficulty levels to choose from, this SOCCER RTS not only has some good options and looks good but also plays well, if a bit slow. Alls it needs is some unclad Scots streaking the field.

This game plays like a simplified RTS game. You click on the people you w ant to control, click where you want to walk, or click on who you want to attack. So simple, it’s almost brilliant. The graphics are all done in 3D with a stylized look fitting for any animated Christmas movie. The environments are a bit plain, but what else can you expect for a game that takes place in snow. The sound effects are a bit cartoony, much like the art, and keeps the game feeling lighthearted. There is no music so if you are anal about having music in a game I suggest you open up winamp and make your own soundtrack. The characters you encounter have varying attacks such as straight-up snowball hurling and larger snow-shovel attacks. You can find powerups that make your attacks more effective, and health pickups to keep you alive for whatever trick the snow bullies have around the corner. I did find that this game was kind of slow to start, but once I started recruiting more friends it got a lot more interesting. Given the season, you should definitely give this a go.
